The short film “Generation” (Pokolenie) is the work of an independent film studio “The Way to Catharsis”. An old man with a cane walks down an evening street when a young man rushes with a friend to a nightclub. Roughly pushing the elderly man with his shoulder, he knocks the cane out of his hands and, without paying any attention to this, goes on. The film “Generation” is a story about representatives of different generations, about those people who went through the war, having experienced a lot of pain and losses, and about those who carefreely burn their lives in clubs and bars. It seems that between these two generations there is an insurmountable chasm, but there is still hope that it can still be overcome.
The idea itself is noble, but the video is made 100% of stamps: the disco is once again a symbol of evil, while it has windows on the street like a store window, young guys stumble over the old man in an empty place, on an empty road and do not help him, but in the end the child helps - it was so expected that I knew it after the first

The idea itself is noble, but the video is made 100% of stamps: the disco is once again a symbol of evil, while it has windows on the street like a store window, young guys stumble over the old man in an empty place, on an empty road and do not help him, but in the end the child helps - it was so expected that I knew it after the first scene. A lot of clichés about WWII. The girl in the field barely catches up with the guy who walks away from her step. The meaning of the video is of course correct, but the images are extremely implausible, which completely destroys the trust of the viewer.

USSR, Late November, 1941. Based on the account by reporter Vasiliy Koroteev that appeared in the Red Army's newspaper, Krasnaya Zvezda, shortly after the battle, this is the story of Panifilov's Twenty-Eight, a group of twenty-eight soldiers of the Red Army's 316th Rifle Division, under the command of General Ivan Panfilov, that stopped the advance on Moscow of a column of fifty-four Nazi tanks of the 11th Panzer Division for several days. Though armed only with standard issue Mosin-Nagant infantry rifles and DP and PM-M1910 machine guns, all useless against tanks, and with wholly inadequate RPG-40 anti-tank grenades and PTRD-41 anti-tank rifles, they fight tirelessly and defiantly, with uncommon bravery and unwavering dedication, to protect Moscow and their Motherland. close
