When I was very young, R. Heinlein was on the list of our favorite authors, writing in the genre of NF. However, this is the second (and what is so little?) film I watch in my lifetime, based on the prose of an old man that I have never read. This is the paradox of time. Now I am, in a way, almost an old man. But what my friend and I learned back in those green years is that Heinlein's books aren't about fiction, they're about the complexity of human relationships, including relationships with ourselves. And now, years later, I see that we were right. A huge respect to the Spirig brothers for a good picture and a special thanks to Peter for the coolest atmospheric soundtrack.
