I decided to watch something simple, chose an Italian comedy, attracted the name of the director (Paolo Genovese, whom we know as a good director) and the main actors (Marco Gillini and Alessandro Gassmann, quite a lot of films with both I watched and was quite pleased with the actors), this film “Freud is to blame for everything” according to his own script, like even a novel, 2014, watched an expanded television two-part version. There is another adaptation of this novel in the form of a 2021 series. Psychoanalyst Francesco (Marco Gillini) alone raised three daughters after his wife abandoned them, preferring to family troubles charity work to save someone somewhere, the youngest daughter Emma (Laura Adriani) for 18 years. But with personal life none of them really does not work out – he after the divorce with his wife had no serious relationship with anyone, the eldest daughter Sarah (Anna Follette) turned out to be a lesbian, went to New York and almost married, but her next friend left her and she returned to her father, deciding that now she will become heterosexual, the middle daughter Martha (Vittoria Puccini) keeps a bookstore, but also can not find anyone, and the youngest contacted a man of her father’s age Alessandro (Alessandro Galessandro) and buildsss plans for the future. And here we are watching all the vicissitudes and situations that arise in these characters. All this is depicted with a lot of humor and places of grotesque, the actors play well, but still I would not call this film outstanding, although for my mood it was quite suitable.
