The film Agapitova un Izglabtie (Agapitova and the Rescued) is a documentary story about the fate of Latvians repressed in the 1940s. In the autumn of 1942, about 700 mothers and children of different nationalities were sent with another batch of repressed to Siberia. Only 60 of them survived, including 6 Latvian children.
