I love the films made by Susanne Beer, especially those written by Anders Thomas Jensen, who is also a good director. I’ve watched almost all of her movies since Open Hearts, but I missed a couple. One of them is the movie "Second Chance", 2014 - and I watched, however, with some effort - I can hardly tolerate films that involve children, especially babies, as it turned out in this film. It’s such a crime drama that at first looks like a heartbreaking drama, but then things get complicated. A police officer who lives in a seemingly happy marriage with his wife, in which a baby was recently born, suddenly dies a child. And he doesn't find anything better than to kidnap a child from a couple of down-and-out junkies. I won’t tell you, but the ending is quite unexpected, at least for the main character. The acting ensemble is excellent - Nikolai Coster-Waldau, Nikolai Li Kaas, Ulrich Thomsen, Maria Bonnevi, etc.
