History of Igor. I watched the film primarily for Radcliffe. His acting was satisfied: he still demonstrates the talent of a dramatic actor. He is very good at these roles.
The film, I think, will not be very popular: there are already many variations about Frankenstein. But this film is rather the alleged story of Frankenstein’s assistant, Igor. Yes, the new approach is interesting. Why does everyone talk about the master himself and do not mention his assistant, because his role in everything may not be the last!
I didn’t like the picture of the movie, there were too many gray and gloomy colors. Perhaps it was conceived specifically to emphasize the dramatic nature of the situation, as there is nothing bright or bright about creating a life without a soul. But the very atmosphere of the enthusiastic work of the inventors is depicted diligently and, one might even say, no longer covered with a romantic fleur. Here you drink, and a nervous breakdown from sleepless nights, and psychological trauma prompted the invention.
Here Frankenstein's assistant plays an even more central role. He is like the sleeping honor and conscience of pure reason, which raises doubts about the correctness of your ideas and inventions. This, in my opinion, is the basis of the idea of the film itself: a tense confrontation between self-confidence and doubt.
It is interesting to try to reveal the technical side of creating a monster. Although it is still strange that creating a body, scientists did not think about – where will the mind and awareness of the created being come from?
Watch the movie interesting and worth the evening.
