Director Brakke has every reason to be happy: he just received the news that his son Theo took first place in local rowing races. However, he banned his son from participating in the competition because his son had poor grades in school. In the end, Brakke sees no other option but to pick Theo up from school and get him an apprentice at his aircraft factory. Although the other 150 students are friendly, Theo is arrogant and disrespectful. He feels better because his father is a factory director.
