The death of Admiral Yamamoto in 1943 dealt a huge blow to the spirit of Japanese troops. American forces are successfully advancing in the South Pacific, capturing one island after another. A squad of Zero fighter pilots, located on one of the islands, bombards airfields and enemy positions, entering into deadly battles with American fighters and bombers, trying to turn the tide of the war.
