A serious dramatic movie, a kind of mix from The Capture with Steven Seagal, Die Hard and, of course, The Rocks with Nicholas Cage. You can even draw direct parallels, especially with the latest film. But there is still a difference and it is very, very significant. The main character - a senior non-commissioned officer (in fact, I do not understand military ranks, but like that) tries to save the lives of lost comrades more, while in American militants everything is just the opposite - the main thing is to shoot as many villains as possible. Politicians and politicians in Japan, as they say, only to prevent the explosion of the metropolis: no ship, no problem. And of course, it is all seasoned with oriental flavor. There is a lot of blood in the film (not so much as in the frankly repulsive film "The Night Comes After Us", so you can watch, in principle, you can), and disgraced special forces also do not forget about ritual suicides. Something is not glued in the production, let’s call it “minor production flaws”, which can be forgiven by the directors (for example, very small-caliber pistols of naval officers, take a closer look, you will understand what I mean). The situation with the “revived” counterintelligence officer is clearly made to please lovers of happy endings. And finally, it is good that the terrorists acted as in Ivan Krylov’s famous fable Swan, Cancer and Pike. What would the government do if the bad guys didn’t have disagreements?
