The film depicts the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on a close, human scale. New York Jewish settler Danny and Arab vendor Abu Bassem live next door in a Muslim quarter in downtown Jerusalem. Both believe that Maale Khaladia Street is their rightful home. Both want peace for their children. But waves of violence are leaving bloodstains on the cobblestone pavements leading to their homes.
