The history of people who lived in Moscow in one of the houses on the Arbat is the history of Russia of the twentieth century. Built in the early 1900s, this stately building was inhabited by wealthy and privileged families. After the revolution, the house was turned into a communal apartment, where people from very different backgrounds coexisted. Through historical materials and memories of former residents, some of whom are in their 90s, the incredible history of the house on the Arbat comes to life.
