The end of 1941. In Yugoslavia, the first concentration camp was established, located near the city of Niš. The whole Zarichi family gets into it, and the father and son are in barracks No. 12, known as the death block. Nevertheless, it is among the inmates of this block that an organization planning an escape is created, and the Zarichis take the lead. When the leadership of the camp begins to suspect a conspiracy and takes the younger Zarich for questioning, an uprising breaks out. . .
