Got spoilers! —----------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- The film by Belgian Jaco van Dormel “The Newest Testament”, 2015. I will not recommend this film to believers, and others can watch it. God, it turns out, there is, he is such a nasty bastard man in a topless robe (Benoit Poulward) and he lives not anywhere, but in Brussels the most perfect reclusive, sitting in his room like a bunker all day in front of the computer and inventing new stupid finishes to infuriate people (such as the famous law of sandwiches and others from the same series), which he can not stand. He has a wife who is also a goddess, but she is completely turbanated by her husband and a 10-year-old daughter Eya, about whom, unlike her son, no one knows, she hates her father, but communicates with her brother, who is present in the house in the form of a statuette on a dresser with which her mother washes the dust, above the dresser still hangs a picture of the last supper of Christ with the 12 apostles. One day Aya runs away from home, having previously stolen the key to his father’s room, penetrated the computer and sent all the people on earth a text with the date of their death, believing that this way she will free them from his power and he will no longer be able to control them and their lives. Her brother supports her in her plans and recommends finding 6 apostles, after which their number will be equal to the number of players on the baseball team whose cards their mother lovingly collects. As you can see, these are all satirical messages and, to some extent, a parody, elements of which will be met there more than once. The first person she meets on Earth turns out to be a bum, whom she commissions to record the newest covenant - the lives of those six apostles. And their stories turn out to be both simple and incredible, including in the style of the highest “tolerance” that can be thought of and which sometimes seems not very acceptable to us. God, of course, learns about all this and goes in search of the escaped daughter, but since he is guided in his actions by some of his “laws”, he gets everything through one place. The film ends with a happy ending, rather randomly created by his wife, who reboots the computer, canceling all the dates of death and sending beauty in her understanding into the world. And God is deported to Uzbekistan (obviously, the wretchedest place the author has come up with), from which he can not get out. This is the story of Jaco van Dormel.
