Definitely good. Such an easy, enjoyable adventure in the spirit of classics like The Mummy and Willow. And the Warcraft wasn't trapped. Yes, there is a place for drama, there is a big evil - but without brutal seriousness, the film has a good-natured attitude, he wants to entertain. And still entertaining, beautiful axon, fantasy setting, adventure and yes, jokes. The jokes are good, there are a lot of them, in two or three moments the hall generally laughed. Humor I would take it just the same "Mummy" or, for example, "Charmed Ella", and sometimes even to "Monty Python". Attempts to pass for the fantasy "Guardians of the Galaxy", as it seemed on the trailers - did not see a slightly different style. Although there is also a Counton-treated Bradley Cooper.
The effects in general are quite decent, everything is done beautifully and with love. I was glad that in the days of total CG do not forget about classical animatronics, albeit in small things. The world looks a little perfect, not Jackson's "VK", but not plastic, looks authentic.
In terms of actors, I had doubts about Pine (the bard? seriously?) and Rodriguez (will the family?) - all doubts are off. Pine is charismatic and singing well, Rodriguez - yes, everything revolves around the family and that's good. Sophia Lillis is an incredible sweetness, and her character turned out great.
About lore... I’m not really into it, not my favorite game. Familiar things and themes - I saw, familiar names - I heard. How it is from the point of view of the expert - I find it difficult to say. With my amateur - everything is done well, the authors are not afraid to scare the viewer with wonderful words, creatures and situations, but also do not hit completely game. I think that this movie is for everyone, maybe not like people who do not like fantasy adventures.
P.S. Be sure to watch the beautiful part of the credits, there is a predictable but funny scene.
