Suddenly a good show turned out. Japanese Mix The Butterfly Effect with Maniac Detectives
The short format of the series in 20 minutes does not prevent saturating them with events. After watching the first couple of episodes, it already seems as if I watched a full-length film, while the exposition occurs at a normal pace, everything is clear, there are no problems with the perception of history, as is often the case in projects of such a short format.
The gray and everyday image of the era of the late 80s pleases: dysfunctional families, broods, guardianship organs, rusty buses. Nice moments, too, tried to add, but in moderation.
There is an abundance of sensual moments associated with growing up accepting "adult" problems by 10-year-olds. It looks beautiful and interesting.
The detective story is quite interesting, however, by the end of the investigation, the maniacs simply begin to poke the viewer in the face, which somewhat kills (or vice versa, “well, it can’t be so obvious”) the intrigue, which in the first series was very successfully created.
The ending is unusual, but understandable. It’s nice to watch a movie where you don’t know what’s going to happen next.
In general, it will be interesting to read the manga source.
