I watched the film, which should be attributed, most likely, to an eccentric arthouse comedy - this is "Miracles in Paris", shot by a comedy couple - Dominique Abel and Fiona Gordon in 2016. The plot is very simple - not very young woman Fiona (played by Fiona Gordon), living in the north of Canada, receives a letter from her elderly aunt from Paris, in which she asks for her help. Without much thought, she immediately went to Paris. And everything would be fine, but here we must take into account that she is extremely ridiculous and awkward person, because of which she constantly gets into all sorts of ridiculous situations. Fate brings her to a homeless Dominic (played by Dominic Abel), who is no less ridiculous than she is. And everything that happens to them is a chain of absolutely ridiculous, stupid and illogical events, which you look at without any irritation. In the role of aunt Martha starred Emmanuel Riva (this is her last role, she died two months before the release of the film), as her friend Norman – Pierre Richard. After reading a bit, I found that this solid Belgian-Canadian duo, who have been together for 30 years, they are now 60 years old, made several films in which they are usually called by their proper names - Dom and Fiona, and they are all shot in such an eccentric manner.
