Unusually correct movie about Leningrad “Corridor of Immortality” is a good military-historical drama that plunges us into the besieged Leningrad 42-43 years.
Let me tell you right away that the film has a lot of flaws. These are indistinctly revealed characters, this is some heterogeneity, a torn structure of the narrative. Also, this includes some vagueness of individual episodes and the problem of many Russian films about the war - some pattern in creating images of the characters of the film. There are also recognizable patterns of behavior in the characters, predictability, which prevents us from learning about the characters really important traits. Despite the fact that the actors played very well, quite convincing and touching - summed up the script.
At the same time, for domestic cinema this is an unusually correct movie, ' Correct' with a capital letter. It is filled with emotions, spirit, and mood, allowing us to come closer to understanding why the city has held on to all these days of siege.
Again, I emphasize that the film conveys the story to us rather emotionally, despite the fact that the script is obviously weak.
Perhaps this film fills the mood that is so lacking in films about the Great Patriotic War of recent decades.
“The corridor of immortality” contrasts favorably against the background of the frank blackness pouring from the screens, TV screens all these years after the collapse of the USSR.
It can be seen that the authors of the film were inspired by Soviet cinema masterpieces and tried to tell a little-known page of the history of the defense of Leningrad.
Thank you so much for that.
In the absence of films of this kind, which try to tell about the everyday feat of people, and not the tedious ' black & #39; this film is worthy of high praise. But only for that reason.
The film looks like a breath of fresh air against the background of the works of Mikhalkov, Khabensky, Alexei Sidorov and other creators.
The movie is interesting, you should see it!
