We understand the desire to build a parallel universe like Battle of Thrones. But the choice of Robin Hood and his team as a guinea pig for these exercises is not motivated by a finger in the sky. There was no positive, real, healthy basis for the film. In the spirit of fanfiction and amateurish writing adherents of the fantasy genre. I was able to watch up to 33 minutes with the clichés taken from martial arts films like 1989’s Kickboxer with Van Damme.
From the first minutes of the film, it becomes clear that it has nothing to do with reality. Knights and nobles as such did not shoot from bows, it was the lot of archers, that is, peasants; archers were not in the Crusades at all. The Arabs, or anyone else, did not have crossbows firing bursts.
But that's not the problem. It is a film with an incomprehensible (rather, its absence) ideology and idea. So, some catchy thoughts about universal brotherhood and tolerance.
