Can synthetic memories be considered real? What is it, a breakthrough that will bring good, or a self-made trap?
The film plays up the idea that the human brain is unable to distinguish between true memories and those distorted by the biochemical nature of our memories. What better physical reality is it if the brain doesn’t care?
Being able to feel anything while safe is very tempting, but soaking. People manage to distort even the best inventions for their own benefit.
I put that movie in the background, but it consumed me as a result. Ironically.
In general, despite the seeming low budget, the absence of eminent persons, etc. is a very good product of modern science fiction, which is worth paying attention to connoisseurs of sci-fi.
