Anyway, dudes and dudes, I gotta tell you about this 2x2 "Suspicious Owl." What can I say? It's a weird cartoon, honestly.
At first, she seems fun and harmless, like, a cute owl, how cool. But you look further and you realize that there is something darker behind this sweetness.
This is the kind of thing they're trying to position as a comedy. Yes, there are a couple of moments where you can laugh, but most of the time you are just given a strange vibe, as if something unclean is happening behind the scenes.
And the characters... Honestly, they annoy me. Some kind of stereotypical and far-fetched eyes are coming out. It seems that the creators just threw a bunch of unrelated ideas into one animated series and hoped that something would work out.
But in fairness, animation and visual performance are fun. Some scenes look pretty beautiful, and that's probably the only thing that kept me inside of this story.
In general, "suspicious owl" is like that. If you like absurdity and strangeness, then maybe it will hook you. But if you want something meaningful and intelligent, you better skip this cartoon. The review is 7 out of 10, because the visual component still saves the situation.
