It’s actually a transcultural urban legend about a guy giving his beloved an eye. That is why the film does not stipulate that in the world where robots live, there are no spare parts, and they are treated in a human hospital in a similar way. Yes, this is all of course touching, but the assessment should be put not for pity, but for the integrity of the work, and we get the whole film - a new retelling of the old story, with logical errors and artificially increased drama. As a spectator, I do not believe that you can be so sloppy that at a concert you can put your hand up and your leg on the stairs.
The technical side was very pleased. The movie is budget-free and the robots are made very well. Obviously, on the set, people wore boxes on their heads, there was a marking on the front of them, and then they put their face on the markings over the top.
