A dream of falling from the sky...and then birth. Rakka is born from a large cocoon into the Old Home, greeted by a group of females with small wings on their backs and shining halos above their heads. Soon Rakka’s own wings grow, a halo is placed on her head and she is told that she must work in the nearby town of Grie. She soon realizes that the town and the entire world they live in are confined behind the Wall, a tall, impenetrable wall that none except the mysterious Toga are allowed to exit.

A very measured and melancholy story about the personal limbs of everyone and the correction of relations with their past. Graphics and style here from 2002, visually everything is very similar to Lane's Experiments. But the similarities don't end there. Neither the Union nor the Experiments make it their main task to tell a complete story. In both cases, it is rather an invitation to the viewer to meditative reflection on a particular topic. A pleasant soundtrack, scenes from measured urban life and attempts of the grey wings to understand themselves - that's basically the whole content of the story. Meditating under this is very pleasant. Undeservedly forgotten title.
