There are no people here The movie's a problem. There is no other word I can pick up and it is unnecessary.
All the prerequisites for the creation of a great philosophical drama are present, which in general should be good, but only if the script and presentation are also at a high level. That’s the problem, the film is fragmented, it’s very crooked, and the script doesn’t reveal the actors and characters. I do not want to sympathize with the main character because she is not revealed as a person. Dad's just a shade of white in the background. Kevin himself, this Kevin, is not revealed in terms of the problems of the film. He's just angry.
I’d like to write more about the film because it has a lot to think about: who’s to blame, what’s to blame for, how much impact it has had and where the truth is in that relationship. Yes, only the pitch is uninteresting, and family relations have always been viewed neutrally from the position of “My family is the same people as everyone around” and it does not matter whether we have one blood or not, if they are criminals, they will get what they deserve, if bad people, it is unnecessary to communicate with such people, if there is a villain who causes problems, then you need to get rid of him, otherwise everyone is finished. Maternal instincts like: “He may be Hitler, but I will love him” – to hell.
I even wrote a special review in the style of the film when the constant jumps there and where the general idea is unclear. Did you like it?
The result is sad. The film with the script “Denis the Tormentor” is presented as a social and personal drama where, among other things, they are afraid to show cruelty. The authors lacked courage, depth, or study of history.
It just doesn’t make sense to watch.
