“Love stories don’t always talk about love, and you don’t hear in everyone, ‘I love you,’ and yet it’s love.” – Jean Becker (Two Days to Kill, Murderous Summer, etc.) Clean Slate, 2010 A very kind and touching film about a tender friendship that happened by chance between two completely different people: he is a kind, but stupid, not too young person, as they call it, she is a former researcher, living out her days in a nursing home is a very pleasant and intelligent old woman. There are no special events in the film, except for the very ordinary events that occur in the life of every person. He lives next to his rather out-of-the-brain mother, fully convinced that she never loved him, he has a good, kind girlfriend who works as a bus driver, who also sees his kind soul. People do not know how to talk to each other about love, even to their closest and only ones, but love exists between them, although sometimes in order to learn this, one must lose a person. However, what's particularly pleasing is that everything in the film ends on an upbeat note. Starring Gerard Depardieu and Gisele Cazadezou, who was already 97 years old during filming!
