Crazy Japanese Steamkiberpunk Post-Apocalyptic Western After watching the series Trigun decided to watch the movie, the good news is that it has already come out. And what?
That's it! It’s brilliant, and it’s probably one of the best westerns released in the twenty-first century. The film creates an atmosphere of the wild west by all possible means. There are bounty hunters of criminals, duels, bank robberies, and a fight in the saloon ... and of course the story of revenge for the death of parents. Of course, here we again see long-known heroes in the usual post-apocalyptic environment, saturated with weapons, thugs, Steampak and even cyberpunk technologies - you wonder how it is possible to combine this. They do! This is probably the most stylish animated film I've seen. I also liked the relatively small number of classic anime tricks that annoyed me a bit on the show (since I don’t really like anime). The soundtrack deserves special admiration.
The basic moral question remained the same as that of the series: the choice of the principle of lesser evil versus the principle of not doing evil at all. Vash’s seemingly naive, childish philosophy is winning in spite of everything. Indeed, even if the Humanoid Typhoon had perished, there would have been something left after it except yellow glasses – a belief in the worthlessness of human life and a stubborn desire to make the world better buried in the souls of other people. However, fortunately, it is not so easy to kill Vash and he will continue his path, bringing hope to the world, which still does not know whether he dies or, on the contrary, is reborn after a cataclysm.
The movie looks easy in one breath - there is no hint of boredom or sucking from the finger. Definitely a masterpiece!
