It was a bit disappointing that the film is minimized and takes place entirely in one building, without any travel and detailed coverage of the world, as it was in the first film. Yes, the film adaptation was in many ways ridiculous, but it was large-scale, and watching the film felt like a holiday. And it's pretty chambered here. However! As the coverage decreased, so did the quality, the work. The film is interesting, filled and very beautiful. Yes, there is a lot of cruelty in it, but decades of work by American filmmakers on action movies, shootings and blood have accumulated a lot of experience that allowed them to reformat the image of murder components in such a way that it completely separated from reality and became art. I am not a supporter of cruelty, but I must admit that in the film, despite its presence, there is no vulgarity and blackness, there is no depth of suffering that would allow us to call the film heavy. And that's good. This is a kind of tribute to the 90s, in which all boys from the age of 7 watched pirated enchanted versions of bloody films with Schwarzenegger, Stallone, van Dam, Segal, etc. We grew up on this, and we didn't become maniacs. And if the authors wanted to make a new film from the 90s, then they have it plus or minus.
However, there are a lot of inconsistencies and blunders, as in almost any blockbuster. Watch "All the Sins of Judge Dredd." Absolutely stupid children's mistakes, such as the fact that a woman is addressed by "sir", mirror shots, the staff of judges copes with 6% of crimes, i.e. it is generally ineffective, the capture of the area can be made with just one call just by chatting with the operator. Unfortunately, there is still so much such nonsense.
