The documentary film of Georgian filmmakers “Life is as a short period” (Lives in Transit) is devoted to a painful topic – civilians, ordinary people, whom the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict of the early 1990s deprived not only loved ones, but also their home. The director of the film “Life is like a short period” Tamara Jalahaniya many days was shooting in the building, where the sanatorium was formerly located. For many years, three hundred families, refugees from Abkhazia, who have not been able to find a new home for themselves, live here only what they have left - memories.
