After her mother dies in a fire, Cassie Blake moves in with her grandmother in the small town of Chance Harbor, Washington. As she gets to know her high school classmates, strange and frightening things begin to happen. They are all descended from powerful witches, and they've been waiting for Cassie to join them and complete a new generation of the Secret Circle. What they don't yet know is that darker powers are at play and that Cassie's mother's death might not have been an accident.

Writers, kill yourself on the wall! I fell for the fact that there was an advertisement for this series on Lost. Well, plus the description promised a kind of hybrid of "Otherworldly" and "Diaries". In addition, the network found a translation from the cube. Watched 5 episodes. Man, I haven't seen this kind of enchanting shit since I hit True Blood. GG is just an impenetrable idiot. The plot, instead of riddles and intrigues, presents us with these nauseating melodramatic girl throws. “How come he loves me and we’re meant to be together, but he already has a girlfriend and I’m so kind and naive... blah blah blah blah.” From the second episode, one thought in my head is: “Give this young John Connor already!” “Here we are going to do this unknown shit and finally find out what it was 16 years ago... just a little... almost.” Oh, no, they didn't. All right, let's try it next time.” I think of God’s name as “Charmed.” Characters get into all the trouble solely because of their idiocy. My mother, the kindest person of her soul, has bewitched her best friend with some mysterious spell that leaves a burn on her wrist in the form of a frightening symbol. What should I do? Of course, split! After all, nothing terrible should happen... OH, SHI-! I put all my hopes on one character. If the story of his own life was developed, a worthy dramatic line could be made. And not this snot-pink melodrama, but a real drama story. Screenwriters, aw! Is it a joke to lose (apparently already at a conscious age) both parents? How was he doing? How did that change his worldview? What's behind the barbed mask of the "knockhead" he put on as a defensive reaction? Yeah, man, why did he even join the Circle after that? How do you feel about the people around you, after all?! This is a young house, to all of you! Fuck it. It is better not to watch anything than to endure how the heart is bleeding from watching this plot vandalism. I sincerely feel sorry for these characters (except the infinitely stupid GG). Not because of the troubles they are in, but because of the writers they were not lucky enough to get to. In general, 3 out of 10 Original
