Better than Twilight, the similarities I initially feared, but not so much. The film is still not serious, it has a lot of girly, but you can still watch it.
There are frankly naive moments - you can not leave the airfield, it is dangerous, but you can ride around with a roar in a car and, most importantly, return to the plane among zombies, rather than go to the city. The bald zombie friend began to help the heroes and drive a car long before the plot-forming changes took place. The dream scene itself is a cartoon. Or here's a wonderful scene - flat in the pool fell, despite the fact that the air resistance in any way had to turn the falling or head or feet ... and most importantly, no one broke! If you fall from this height, the water will be almost as dense as concrete. There were not enough dead people: a bald brigade and a squad of skeletons, shouldn’t the whole Earth be infected? And really, what else would a girl with a zombie who ate her boyfriend do? Obviously, dating him. In general, the level of mercy is close to childishness, but managed to somehow stand on the edge.
I also had this information. The film is based on the book, I did not read it myself, but a friend read it and in general she does not agree with the film adaptation. I'll play the book next. Julie's father was very angry, he was eaten by skeletons at the end. The fall was not in the water, but on the ground. P's consciousness was not his own, but inherited from Peri. And in the movie, all those brutal moments were cut out to make it cute.
