Throughout the territory of the former Soviet Union, wherever you stop, it is worth stretching out your hand by a busy road, when almost immediately a car will stop in front of you. These makeshift taxis, operating without a license, "bombers," as they are called, remain for many the only way to earn money. Gypsy Cab follows three different drivers from Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The authors of this documentary talk about how people live throughout the post-Soviet space, and about the ways in which they try to cope with their difficulties.
