The film Heat (2011), created Alexander Arkhangelsky - a story about people who lived in the 1960s - 1980s, those who were painfully looking for a way out of those insoluble contradictions that had to face in everyday life of that time. The main theme of the film is the secret life of the Russian Orthodox Church. The film appeals to the stories of priests and laity, to those who believed not abstractly, but with true strength, who believed that such work of the spirit can not only change life, but also be the only possible form of resistance to the ruling regime at that time.
