Jan Brzechwa (1900-1966), real name Jan Lesman, was a Polish poet, prose writer, translator. He chose the pseudonym “Bzehwa”, which can be translated as “talker”, “joke”. The creative range of Jan Brzehwa is very wide.
He is the author of fairy tales, fables, humorous poems, fantastic stories. Translated into Polish works by A. Pushkin, A. Chekhov, I. Ilf and E. Petrov. But especially Jan Brzehwa loved to compose fairy tales, and the most famous of them is about Mr. Klyaksa. "Academy of Mr. Klyaxa"
