Gennady Pavlovich (born 16 February 1936, died 4 June 1994) wrote for children and children. Since 1959, when he, a young hydraulic engineer who had just received a diploma, asked to send him to build a hydroelectric power plant in Bratsk, and when his first, partly autobiographical story was published, he has published many of his literary works, publishing them in popular journals and almanacs. At the same time, he touched on a variety of topics – from military-patriotic education to fairy tales. Some of his work became films. Especially successful was the story “Dear Ep”, published in 1974 in the magazine “Youth” – it was written a play, staged in many theaters throughout the country, and in 1991 the film of the same name was shot.
