Federico Moccia was born in Rome in 1963. Three Meters Above the Sky is his first book, a book about youth, vulnerable, cheerful and angry. The romantic comedy is intertwined here with a touching tale of rejected teenagers. After publication in a small Roman publishing house, this novel in a matter of weeks became a cult among Italian youth.
