In 1985-1991 she taught in Tbilisi. In 1991-1995, together with Irakli Kvirikadze, she led a directorial workshop in VGIK. Since 1994 he has been a member of the European Film Academy. The author of the scripts of the films “Boar” (1993), “Memories became mad” (1993). In some of his films he also acts as an artist and costume designer. Since 1995 he has lived in Germany and Russia. Works in Russia, France and Germany.

Winner of the jury prize in Florence for “Poet Rovakidze” in 1990 and the FIPRESSI prize in Rotterdam for the painting “A little about Georgia” in 1993.
