Fred Karger is an American film composer who was born on February 13, 1916, and died on August 5, 1979 in Santa Monica. At birth, he was named Frederick Maxwell Carger Jr. The heyday of his career came in the 1940s and 1960s, when Carger wrote music for more than fifty films.
