Jonathan Tulloch is a British writer and naturalist. For about ten years he wrote an author's column in one of the oldest weeklies in Great Britain, Tablet. Jonathan has published several novels, two of which focus on children. The themes of his books cover a variety of subjects. Before becoming a writer, Jonathan taught English and drama at Gateshead School. During the year he spent in South Africa, Talloch staged a play with the students. The writer leads a secluded lifestyle in the English outback in North Yorkshire, where he lives with his family.
