Ilya Aleksandrovich Gruzdev

One of the prominent Soviet literary critics, biographer M. Gorky, a researcher of his work. From 1914 he placed feuilletons in the newspaper Life of Art, reviews and critical articles were published in various journals, almanacs and collections. He joined the "Serapion Brothers" community, in which he participated.
In terms of methodology, he gravitated towards formalism. Recently, Gruzdev developed a biography of Gorky; introduced many little-known facts from this field into scientific circulation.
