Dave Metzger is a composer, arranger, conductor with an impressive list of successful works. Dave grew up in Corvallis, Oregon and began composing music in Grade 7 for school choirs and jazz bands. He earned a degree in music while studying at the University of California. During the same period, he began his career working on promotional videos and collaborating with legendary trumpeter Maynard Ferguson.

The Night Show with Jay Leno Since 1997, he has had a close working relationship with Grammy Award-winning film composer Mark Manchin. One of their first projects was the Broadway show “The Lion King”, which won the 1997 Tony Award for Best Musical and is now one of the highest grossing in history.
Through his work with Mancina and the Disney studio, Metzger has had the pleasure of arranging music for artists such as Phil Collins, Idina Menzel, Tina Turner, Elton John and many others.
In 2013, together with colleagues Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Dave worked on the music for the animated film.
"Frozen." , which was recognized by the Academy as the best feature-length cartoon of the year, and whose soundtrack was at number one on the charts for 13 weeks. Among his other works in the cinema are the cartoons How to Train Your Dragon 2, Ralph, Make Feet, Rio, on which he performed as a conductor.
