Currently, Rulfo develops numerous communication products: in print, radio, television and hypermedia (streaming video and podcasts).
He recorded "Hymn Veracruz", is the creator of the "Festival of Orchestras". He was the coordinator of the educational channel in the period from 2005 to 2010 – the first time an educational channel aimed at students, teachers and parents was broadcasted at the national level, with a wide form of educational support in the form of online documents, interactive lectures, etc.
He lives in the city of Jalapa in the Mexican state of Veracruz with his wife Adele and three children.
