He was born on July 28, 1958.
He graduated from the School of Arts in Rostov-on-Don, after which in 1977 he was accepted into the troupe of the Rostov Youth Theatre.
In 1978 he entered the LGITMIK named after N. K. Cherkasov at the Faculty of Acting (course Z. Y. Korogodsky), in 1981 he became an artist of the Leningrad Theatre named after A. A. Bryantsev.
