He graduated from LGITMIK in 1975 (class of Professor Korogdsky). He worked as the chief director in the Tula and Tver Theatres, staged performances in Omsk, Tomsk, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Kirov and other cities of Russia. For eight years he worked at the Russian Academic Youth Theatre, staged his own staged performances “Life Ahead” by E. Azhar, “Pollianna” by E. Porter and others.
