Born in St. Petersburg, studied at the Leningrad Conservatory at the Department of Opera Directing, then graduated from LGITMIC. He staged more than 20 performances. From 1992 to 1997 he was the chief director of the Novosibirsk Red Torch Theatre. There he staged the performances “The Doctor involuntarily” by J. B. Moliere, “Talents and Fans” by A. Ostrovsky, “Six Characters in Search of the Author” by L. Pirandello, “Mother Courage and Her Children” by B. Brecht, “My Look” by A. Arbuzov, a musical for children based on the novels by C. Dickens “Merry Christmas, Uncle Scrooge!”.
After leaving the "Red Torch" he worked in St. Petersburg ("My Look" by A. Arbuzov in the Theater of Satire on Vasilievsky, "Mysterious Variations" by E. E. Schmitt in BDT, "Dear, I Can't Hear What You Say...." in "The Comedian's Shelter"), Moscow (director of the first Russian stationary musical "Nord-Ost").
In 2001, he was invited to the position of artistic director of the Volgograd Theatre for Young Spectators, where he staged performances based on the works of Metropolitan Dimitri of Rostov, Herbert Berger, Vladimir Zherebtsov and other authors.
In 2004 he organized the Youth Theatre in Volgograd, which began its work on July 27, 2004 with an open rehearsal of the play “Notes of a Russian Traveler” based on the play by Yevgeny Grishkovets.
Currently, he is the artistic director of the municipal “Volgograd Youth Theatre”, founded on March 24, 2006.
