Nikolai Koshkin is a Soviet and Russian illustrator and animator artist. He was born in 1947 on June 30 in the German city of Eberswald. In order to develop the awakening ability to draw in school, Nikolai visited the art studio at the Volokolamsk Palace of Pioneers. Nikolai Koshkin is a Soviet and Russian illustrator and animator artist.
He was born in 1947 on June 30 in the German city of Eberswald. In order to develop the awakening ability to draw in school, Nikolai visited the art studio at the Volokolamsk Palace of Pioneers. After school he entered the Rostov VTUZ, but he did not forget the pencil and paints, and after moving to Moscow in the late 1960s he began to work at the Likhachev plant and as an illustrator in various capital publishing houses, in particular, talentedly illustrating the fiction of the Strugatsky brothers, Kir Bulychev, St. Lem and many other authors.
In 1974, Koshkin came to Soyuzmultfilm, participated in the creation of numerous cartoons, each bringing its own original author's style. Especially fruitful was the cooperation in animation with director V. Tarasov, with whom they shot, in particular, cartoons.
