Guillaume Mussaud was born in 1974 in the town of Antibes (Department of the Maritime Alps). He met with great literature when he was ten years old. And from that time Guillaume firmly decided that he wanted to write novels.
At the age of 19, Guillaume Mussauds left for the United States for several months. He discovered New York City and immediately loved it. To earn money for this trip, he worked as an ice cream salesman and lived in a dormitory with workers of various nationalities. He says

At the age of 19, Guillaume Mussauds left for the United States for several months. He discovered New York City and immediately loved it. To earn money for this trip, he worked as an ice cream salesman and lived in a dormitory with workers of various nationalities. He says he learned a lot at the time. He returned to France from the United States with a bunch of ideas for new novels.
After receiving economic education, G. Mussaud became a teacher. He currently teaches economics at the International Lyceum.
In 2004, Guillaume Mussauds sent the manuscript of the novel “After” (“Et Après...”) to XO. Bernard Fixo is delighted with the amazing atmosphere that the young writer has managed to create in his books. The novel After has sold more than 1 million copies and has been translated into 20 languages.
Recognition received from readers of the novels “After”, “Save me”, “Will you be there?”, “Because I love you”, and “I will return for you”, made Mussaud one of the most popular French authors. His books are read all over the world, films are made on them.
Fidélité Productions' After is directed by Gilles Bourdos. Romain Dury, John Malkovich, Evangeline Lilly. The film was released in January 2009. The film rights to "Will You Be There?" and "Because I Love You" were also sold.
