To be objective, Harvey Glazer’s Bitten has quite a few weak points. It seems that the script of the picture was written in haste. And her directing looks a little "raw". But it was a pleasure to watch. The listed disadvantages of the film are sufficiently equalized by the cool black humor and originality of some of the ideas of its creators. Glazer definitely has a sense of style. With a relatively small budget, the film is well shot. Especially his erotic scenes. And successfully selected music fits perfectly into the atmosphere of the cinema, creating the necessary mood for the viewer.
But, undoubtedly, one of the most noticeable advantages of the picture are the work of actors. The charismatic Jason Mewes was amused and delighted, even though I occasionally saw good old Jay in him. And sexy Erica Cox, extremely spectacularly entered the image of her “heroine”, will definitely impress the male audience. I just fell in love with her Danica. I really liked the main theme of the painting. And while watching, I involuntarily even wondered what I would do if I were in Jack's place.
Unfortunately, the clichéd finale of the picture somewhat lubricates the overall positive impression of viewing.
