Ask me if I'm happy. I have my weaknesses. Yeah. And one of them, not the most disgusting, love for the trinity of Italian comedians Aldo, Giacomo and Giovanni. Recently, I watched another film with their participation “Ask Me If I’m Happy”, renamed “Three Stupids and Luck”.
Here is the story of three friends, which the actors tell under their own names. They're all losers. One is an extra at the opera house. The other is a meme in a supermarket. The third is engaged in dubbing, but not here in the main roles. And now, one day, the friends decide to put Cyrano de Bergerac on their own. However, a girl is involved in their life.
What do I like about this lyrical comedy, as I would call it? A slight bitterness of sadness in the best traditions of Italian cinema. Fine humor. Jokes and jokes. Recklessness. And a well-told story. The actors are going to make us laugh, which is very lucky for me personally. These are really sad clowns.
Every cloud has a light lining. That's what this movie is about. To quote one moviegoer: “After the final scene, there is a feeling that everything in life can change for the better.” That's the point!
