A film by Randhir Kapoor that you can (and should!) watch because of the always brilliant and soulful Raj Kapoor. Raj Kapoor leads here, bizarrely intertwining, two of his favorite adult lines: “The Fate of the Artist” and “The Fate of the Legacy” (also known as “The Sadness of the Father”). Since the film was directed by Kapoor’s son, he made sure that the line “The Fate of Legacy” had a kind of optimistic ending. But the sad, desperate, pessimistic and tragic scenes that Raj brilliantly performed speak for themselves. In this film, older actors - Raj and Premnat (aged friends from the "Rainy Season") - in two counts outplay the young couple Randhir and Rekha. However, the Rekha powder is very nice here. The story itself - masala about substitute babies - on the lover of the masala genre.
It is noteworthy that at the end of the film, Raj (that is, his hero Ashok) becomes a grandfather (" Dada!), thus acquiring a status in which he is mainly revered by the current generation of moviegoers.
