“Univer” marked the peak of the popularity of sitcoms on Russian TV. Launched in 2008, it lasted as many as five seasons and during this time acquired a lot of fans and fans. The topic was chosen very close to the student audience - the university, the hostel and everything related to them. Uncomplicated characters and simple plots of the series had to the fact that the spectacle will be quite fun, but in an effort to cheer the audience, the series went too far.
The main characters look so hypertrophied that authenticity does not smell. Yes, every sitcom exaggerates something for the sake of humor, but in "Univer" such an exaggeration is literally at every turn. At least Kuzya. A typical rocker who suffers from a lack of mind. Familiar cliche? It is not a problem if the character reveals himself well. But Kuzya is revealing just badly. His weak ingenuity makes the character a kind of dummy from children's plays, where he belongs. But the series is clearly not designed for children, since the characters constantly discuss sex. It turns out that Kuzya is responsible purely for humor, but this humor is so primitive that it is not suitable anywhere. Another walking cliché is Alla. A typical blonde who is stupid about anything that has nothing to do with finding a partner, or rather a dad who will provide for her in exchange for condescending smiles or light kisses. To be honest, Allah is more annoying than laughing. If you imagine that the characters of the series suddenly find themselves in an emergency situation, will Alla help someone to escape? No, she'll probably betray everyone. To save myself, my beloved.
The strangest and most unfortunate decision of the series are Sasha and his father. Invoking in such a life problem of Russian students as the lack of money, the series shows us the character in a radically different situation: the obsessive father of Sasha is an oligarch, and the son is trying to keep his distance from a rich life. After all, money and constant rest in the resort is so exhausting, right? Even in a critical review, this sounds like bullying. If the series somehow ridiculed and denounced the illegally acquired fortune of a billionaire, it would be good. But there is no condemnation, there is only the ridicule of Sasha, who – like – understands something and condemns something.
In general, "Univer" and does not claim to be something outstanding, but still the level of snide could be lower. So is the level of stupidity.
I’ll start with “honey”: the best thing about the film is the screensaver at the end of the song “... and love – what else do we need with you?”. Another film about normal students would have been made under it - I would love to watch it.
And so there is almost one "tar" ...
First, I am not original, of course, but name really does not correspond to the content: in fact it is not "Univer", but "Dommitory", - and even more precisely: "Razhildeyi" (And as Lev Andreich added in such cases: "And this I am now culturally expressed!").
By vulgarity, the authors apparently decided to surpass many American comedies - and they succeeded. When I first saw the series on TV, I turned it off after 10 minutes because it was disgusting to the point of nausea. In the barracks, the humor is subtler than that of these future "intellectuals." Looking under the skirt on underwear is generally some kind of kindergarten level. Then in the same vein - a typical example of humor: Gosha says "poo" - and everyone laughs. And different physiology. . .
The second time I decided to review only after the “New dormitory” – 10 years later – to learn the background of the heroes, so to speak. Yes, and after the "House" doubted: maybe, still there is something hundred'. But it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. . .
Half of the heroes in general are not something that does not cause sympathy, but, on the contrary, a strong dislike. I'm sorry, but what do you call a woman who provides "intimate services" for material goods? And who then is Alla? ... Michael and Gosha are pretty much the same, just masculine. And “in life” such people are not so “pleasant in communication” as in this movie.
More or less normal here only Sasha, Tanya, Kuzya - then Lilya amused with her eccentricity. But Kuzei is constantly bullied for being stupid—although to me, that’s as mean as laughing at a person’s physical shortcomings. Especially since – and they are just like the “mind chamber”! They all act like fifth graders all the time, and in my day the students were much older. For example, they are full of ineptitudes: Michael and Tanya all day all over the uni are shamed in handcuffs – about the passages they have never heard? Well, Tanya did not guess, but Michael is like a man - how can you be so stupid? Another time, Tanya tore off her voice, but still tried to embarrass herself for a lesson - although this is a valid reason for release, and everyone would willingly go to meet her: after all, the main "tool of labor" is damaged by the teacher - it is quite possible even to sit on a sick leave until it gets better ... The funny thing is that she is a lawyer, and she should know such things. . .
And such nonsense is full of the series - for example, Kuzya once offers Petrovich 2-3 bottles of vodka for kerosene, although he could buy it 10 times cheaper in any household (and would not "burn" at the same time, like a fool)... I would understand if it was some urban undergrowth, but the guy is from village! Where even the squirrel knows “what is kerosene and how to deal with it” – or rather, where to take and how much. .
Fantasy of the authors is also not very rich, often depleted - so the same situations and jokes are constantly repeated (how many times a series was laxative?).
And when laughing behind the scenes, I often not only not funny, but generally want to cry: constantly angry rudeness, rudeness, bullying, insults, humiliation (especially Sylvester Andreich is famous for this). I wonder if all this was said in their address, would they laugh as well?
They often say and do shameful things. What in my time was considered obvious meanness, here is almost the norm.
Even friendship - the only more or less good in the series - they have a strange: so, in one of the episodes Kuzya hit his head hard on the bath, and everyone only laughs, no one even worried about his condition, did not look at the bruise - although the head is seriously dangerous. He even began to hallucinate—but they laughed, too—even though he could get into real trouble and even die. . .
Bulk in the series and simply unreal scenes.
And the number of bladders is just off the scale. Most of all, the eyes are morbid: they constantly change clothes, although they are of completely different height and physique (Alla-Tanya, Sasha-Michael, etc.). And so their rough blunders are almost in every series. Not that a blunder, but annoying that in all “beauties” – usually nothing beautiful; “beauties” from “urodin” often do not differ at all – but in the film from “beauties” everyone is crazy, and from “urodin” disdainfully turn away. . .
Another savenger at the beginning is moronic up to the 175 series - I always turn off the sound and squander.
The only exception, when this film I have more or less “got well” – it is under a powerful drug that I had to take at one time (it has a lot of side effects – walked like a drunk), as well as in extreme heat, when the brain did not move. From this we can conclude what I-Q the film is designed for.
Sometimes I turn on the background when I work, if there is nothing on TV at all: at least no one is killed, and then fine. But even then it can be so annoying that you have to rewind and turn off all the nonsense – sometimes skip the whole series.
Unlike the New Dormitory, none of the series completely liked it. The only thing he recorded for himself was several separate plots: Kuzya and Sophia (246); and how Kuzya-"sensei" taught Sasha to fight (96) - then a few more stories with Lily - this is a "child of nature" in itself ridiculous. Larisa Baranova, by the way, a talented comedy actress – it’s a pity that I have never met in any other normal film. Keschyan and Gogunsky, of course, are also very good actors - they know how to get used to the role - but in such a low-grade hack their talents only disappear. . .
Another brainchild of Russian ' sitcom production '. Sitcoms modern television littered, they are already beginning to get confused. Interns, kitchens, Olga, Voronin... They cease to understand, they cease to be evaluated as a spectator, not even a film critic. 'Univer' - this is from the category, sorry, that junk in which all Russian is ridiculed. Russian students are ridiculed here. One gets the impression that Russian students are completely crazy and think about how to fuck @@@t. Where to laugh, where to laugh, at what moments? I cannot laugh with those who laugh behind the scenes, I simply do not have enough energy over every uttered by the same Allochka 'Kick-Ass!'. And she says this strange word in a series a hundred times, if not more. Is that funny?
In the series 'Univer' not a single memorable image was created. The hero of Gogunsky frankly infuriates with his impassable stupidity. That's really Kuzya. The oligarch Klimushkin did not tail the mare here at all. The only thing that can be noted in some places more charisma of Michael, well, somewhere else will mix the heroines Kozhevnikova and Rubtsova. In the rest - just stupid, played, homemade and irrelevant.
That’s actually how you can describe the whole under-serial. The idea is good, good, there is no dispute. And here are the actors... Because of them, the series is cut to the root, watching everything with facepalm. But a little more.
Director and script. In principle, there are no complaints about the director and screenwriters, most of the plots are quite vital. There are several significant shortcomings. Why, that's why it was necessary ' decent son of an oligarch' in this sitcom? Everyone knows that's a lie. I have a lot of friends from college, from different universities, plus from technical school. All the children of the rich and the guys-majors were engaged only in hanging out in clubs, skating in premium class and copulating with students, seducing from a fraught life. We didn’t see them in the lectures, and why? The folder has everything, so we're walking, who needs this stupid institution? Here are the girls from rich families... Here the situation is different: some of them were decent, and some with reduced social responsibility. In any case, decent girls from wealthy families are still many times more than guys-majeure, seeking to learn astronomy. In the series, a decent girl from a rich family would look more organic and truthful, my IMHO.
A sharp disgust was caused by the character of Keshchan. Attention, question: you very often see decent students-boys 'sons of the mountains'? Nope? There I am. Immigrants from the Caucasus are slightly more often than always engaged in the same as boys-majeure. Plus absolutely inadequate behavior and periodic fights. In any case, they do not rush into science, that is for sure. There are no more claims to the characters themselves, the rest are quite vital.
Actors. Now here's the barrage of indignation. All actors, without exception, play disgustingly. They seem to have come here for money. It is a pity that the choice of actors approached so carelessly. This series could well compete with the same 'The Big Bang Theory' because the script and directing are on top. But the actors got kicked. Especially annoying is the incompetence of Gogunsky and Gaidulian. The role of Kuzi HarActor, but she was killed by the incompetence of Gogunsky. And Gaidulyan himself is talentless, and even the role of a lie got. This is from the standards of cinematography. Klimushkin in the role ' daddy' wildly, wildly outplays. And Kozhevnikova... Let's just say there could have been any other doll instead and nothing would have changed. She could not revive the role, it did not work. She should be a model, not an actress. Every actress is a model, but not every model is an actress.
Summarizing. You know, that's how they play when you shoot everything from the first take, like in the '90s. Well, then I understand, there was no money, but today what? Apparently, all the money went to pay the actors, who then bought apartments in Maaskwe and prestigious foreign cars, and someone else in the Duma climbed. Poverty syndrome: ' was nothing, became everything'.
But that’s another story altogether.
I wanted to tell all this: could be a series - the pride of Russian cinema, and came out cheap crafts. So you're watching it and you don't care what's going to happen in the next series or even if it's going to happen. You can stop in the middle of the series and go to bed. Cheap sitcom, which gave pleasure to hamsters, so that there was something in the office to discuss, the actors – an acidic Moscow salary and the opportunity to break out in ' shaggy', and the writers of a stupid drunk money. Because the scenery is too clearly give the pavilion, in some series you can even notice that the walls of cardboard and camera are visible. So we still have to stomp and stomp to Netlfix or NBC, which have crazy ratings.
It is a pity that the careless attitude ruined a wonderful idea.

It is surprising how such nonsense stretched over many dozens of series, when the supply of ideas and pseudo-humor has long been exhausted. Idea ' University' recalled the popular French TV series ' Helene and the boys': the lives of poor students, the same interiors - the boys' room - the girls' room, the cafe, for dilution the university itself, a voice-over laugh at absolutely stupid jokes and not funny moments ... And problems. Problems, 89% of which young people make up for themselves.
What is the meaning of the series that it shows? From series to series, we are shown the same thing: Allochka with her unchanged ' Kick-Ass' does not know how to pick up another rich guy (by the way, the image of this heroine evokes associations with Ellochka the cannibal), often makes a mistake and sleeps with everyone in a row, with a poor artist, for example; her best friend Tanya, a bland, scanty knuckle and hysterical, in which there is not an ounce of sweetness or femininity, but which is heavenly lucky, she twisted the son of an oligarch, live and rejoice, but here Tanya cries loudly without ours; Kuzya - why did you have to make this character so stupid, and even insult him with the presence of the philological faculty? How did he get there and still hasn’t left... Michael - I have always treated Ararat Keshchyan well, since the days of KVN, but what happened to him in 'Univer'? It's really wooden! It’s amazing how girls fall for him. No charm, no sincerity ... nothing. Sasha is a proud, stubborn guy with youthful maximalism who is ready to disown his own father just because he is an oligarch. Apart from the squealing screams paired with his girlfriend Tanya, I saw nothing in this character. However, in all the other characters there is nothing attractive either. Gosha is a nasty and externally and internally slippery type; Lilya is an alien who caused even more useless problems in the series.
What do the creators of the series 'Univer' want to teach us? Is it possible to degrade to high school by getting higher education? Or the fact that the main thing in life is parties and no morality? Girls are more important breasts and accessibility, boys are unscrupulous in relations with the female sex.
It's a pity that the current generation is growing up on sitcoms like this. He takes them for the truth. . .
Even in the most bad-knotted series, if it is done by professionals, the core, the reason, its main leitmotif is not missed.
In ' How I Met Your Mother' for example, the grain is the search for human happiness, which consists of family, business, friends and much more. And also that all this is unattainable, and a person rarely has the courage to make the last leap. However, the subtheme of the series with interest, but its exoskeleton never goes out of sight, it is always somewhere nearby.
In the series 'Univer' the reasons for the creation are not completely. It has no idea.
The authors who wrote the series did not carry any unresolved questions, dead-end maxims and truths. They didn't bother with anything.
A university is one long and meaningless journey, as a result of which not a single tree will grow, not a single person will die.
All the heroes do is look at each other under the veil, engage in obscenities and have fun. No one seeks to master the profession, start a family, etc.
No, no, not again. Even writing is boring.
From the very beginning, the projects of the TNT channel, like the channel itself, interested me. I don't know why, but even ' Happy together' I used to like it (now I'm rated it at 2). And now this channel attracts me to the screen, but it is also disappointing. The latest series 'Comedy club', 'Stand up', 'Comedy Woman', 'Friendship of Peoples' and so on... are just disgusting TV series, and there have been a lot of them. I don’t know what will happen next, but so far everything adds up to one thing – TNT-shnikov banally run out of ideas.
'University', 'Real boys', 'Interns' - here are 3 series that really came out worthy. And 'University' I give the title of best TV series TNT. There is also ' Fizruk' but I have not met him yet, but judging by some passages I have seen, this is a step forward for TNT.
It is not for those who are used to looking for meaning. It's designed to be entertaining, and unlike most TNT shows, it really does. Heroes get into such difficult and ridiculous situations that in 90% of cases you just do not want to switch to another channel when the advertising started. I really want to worry about them, there is nothing superfluous in the series, there is no stretch at all, and for me this means a lot.
But the main, and perhaps the only drawback because of which this series, as well as the rest of the TNT series, threw rotten tomatoes - is a certain absurdity and "#39; delirium" & #39; what is happening. But I think in the series, where the characters get into the most ridiculous and difficult situations, it is difficult to do without it. I personally don’t pay much attention to that.
Well, I just can't help but mention the hero of this series - Kuzyu. He's just incredibly funny. You have to see that.
' New dormitory' I like it even more. The situation there became even more absurd, and it made him even more interesting and funny.
And, I think, do not take too seriously the fact that the series eventually get worse - but you yourself try to write a script for a hundred episodes, and so that over time they do not get worse!

Often, young people do not understand why the older generation considers depraved and not distant generations. The answer lies in such series that have flooded Russian television since the 2000s. In order: \
This series is a collection of vices presenting them in a good light. Disrespect for parents, prostitution, theft and hypocrisy and this is only the tip of the iceberg.
Acting heroes of modern youth. Sasha leaving his father to please his vanity, Gosha is a lover who thinks with one organ and about the bottom. Kuzya, a stupid athlete. Alla-pushing her legs in front of someone. And Tanya is kind of smart, but she's also made neurotic, scary and inadequate.
The plot repeats from series to series the same tricks from the life of students, which in real life and can not be. There is no mention of studying there, only exams are occasionally mentioned.
As a result: while such series are on zombie boxes, young people will create false ideals, forgetting about books and thinking about the place where one of the above characters thinks.

The farther, the better. Although it's not typical of TV shows.
The law of all series - the further, the worse. But this series follows its own laws. It's the opposite here. With each season it gained momentum, became more interesting, and I started watching it when the second season was shown, then watched the replays of the first. The first season was boring, vulgar, and poorly filmed. The following seasons were already interesting, after the expulsion of Goshi into the army, and the arrival of Michael.
The actors are well chosen for their roles, but the characters are not all good.
Sasha Sergeyev is the son of an oligarch who refuses his father’s money and lives independently. He sometimes looks too much like Tanya, bitches, and he has many complexes. In some episodes it is normal, and in some it is annoying.
Michael is a good replacement for Goshi. The same womanizer, but unlike Goshi, he can help others, instead of just mocking. And Coosey isn't playing so hard. An interesting character, gradually, with each season, Ararat Keshchyan plays better and better.
Kuzya - athlete, naive and kind character. He is the best of all the hostel residents. Sometimes I wonder how he could get into an institution with that level of intelligence and still not get kicked out. Kuzya is like a child, happy with any toy, plays the console, in general behaves as not befitting his age.
Allah is the most beautiful dormitory girl, according to its residents. But I don't like her very much. An ordinary girl with high self-esteem. The character is bland, as well as Sasha, in some episodes too annoying.
Tanya - a complex student, and then a laboratory assistant. Sexually concerned, even though she doesn’t think so. Can get drunk at any time, get high, and try to seduce the student. I think it’s the biggest drawback of the series. The actress is selected for the role well, as befits Tanya, but the character here is superfluous.
All other actors are not bad, especially Sylvester Andreevich. I like his offensive phrases. The character has a good charisma.
The script is also good, but after the second season. Every season, like I said, it gets better and better. There are new interesting characters. I can’t believe that students have so much free time. I will soon be a student myself, and I will find out if that is the case.
In general, the series is very good, even if it is not quite close to reality, it still lifts the mood. I advise everyone to see also 'New dormitory' which in my opinion is a level higher than the old 'University'
Like most of the long-running series "Univer", over time has slipped into nonsense. From season 5, the plot became frankly weak and not funny.
But it was possible to fix everything, and instead the creators crammed a bunch of unnecessary and uninteresting characters into the plot, changed the character of the characters, inserted a bunch of flat jokes.
On some heroes:
Kuzya – According to the plot, he is a little stupid, periodically he got smarter, and in the last series he became so stupid that it became not funny.
Tanya is a student, and later a teacher (graduate student), in the plot is in love with Sasha. At first she was a nice girl, again her character was changed not for the better - they made her hysterical. Although there is no reason to change, live happily on the ruble. He creates for himself and his civil husband Sasha a lot of unimportant problems from scratch. Not everyone is interested in seeing them.
Gosha is cunning, but has changed a little. It is not clear what kind of relationship he has with Lilya Volkova. (They live together, at the same time he is periodically drawn to free relationships.)
Summary - An interesting series with an interesting plot (If you do not take into account season 5).

I love every episode! I don’t think there’s a person who is more fanatical about him than I am, because I don’t think anyone watched him as much as I did! Now I watch it for the 7th time, so I know all the words by heart, but I still laugh, sometimes even in advance, because I know what will happen now! Also very often rewind a funny moment and watch it 5 times, especially when the funny moment is added to the voice-over laughter, which I also really love and always wanted to see these people who are laughing behind the scenes! Sometimes I like the laughter more than what they laugh at. And, really, laughing behind the scenes helps to laugh even more, because laughter is also funny! I don't know why everyone doesn't like him so much. . .
In general, about the series:
This is my favorite series of all that exist!
Some say there is no story, no humor! I agree, there is no plot as such, but why is it necessary here in principle? The plot in the sitcoms is not necessary at all, it is SITCOM - Situational Comedy - the plot unfolds separately in each series; it is not ' Deaf' where each series is related to each other! On the contrary, it is good that you can watch the 96th episode, then the 250th, then the 2nd! I sometimes do that, just Google the number from 1 to 255 and look, well, it’s when you need time to pass away, or stupidly before going to bed when you can’t sleep.
Actors' play:
1st place undoubtedly takes Vitaly Gogunsky - the most difficult role, but plays the best, leaves no chance to take this place from him!
2nd place would give Andrei Gaidulian and Ararat Keshchyan
3 - Valentina Rubtsova and Maria Kozhevnikova!
Alexei Gavrilov, do not be offended if you read this, but your acting skills were satisfactory only in season 1, in the rest it was the worst of all!
Alexei Klimushkin plays good and bad - sometimes I am just delighted with his expressive nature, and sometimes in sadness from a poorly played moment!
P.S. I fell in love with this series, so I can not list the drawbacks, perhaps there are, but in any case they are insignificant, because the main differences from other comedy series are much more!
I love 'University ' I'll watch it all my life!
