Werewolves don't cry. Very nice story. Against the background of universal love for vampires, werewolves somehow lost, and there is a whole story in the style of the notorious “Twilight” (the moment when Lauren is looking for confirmation of her guess on the Internet, the creators of “Twilight” specifically “communized”, exactly). According to a couple of signs, the heroine draws conclusions that, somehow, turn out to be absolutely correct.
The characters here are extremely funny - that the main, and secondary. Lauren is a popular girl, but somehow pinched and insecure. She is hunted by a supernatural man with whom she, strangely enough, does not fall in love. She has an infantile brother who acts as an irritant, a skeptical friend, a phony hunter and a mother who is not at home all the time. The villainous werewolf with a charming grin is an obvious antagonist from the beginning: he squints sinisterly, and he has a Very Wicked Dog.
And then there's the Prince Charming, in love with Lauren. At first, you take him for a fool, but from the second half of the film, the guy evolves into a serious and significant character.
The plot is interesting with a slightly different approach to this type of evil spirit. There is a love triangle, the existence of which the heroine does not know almost until the end. The beginning and the first third of the film run quickly and unobtrusively, then a few bloody scenes, climax and denouement. The end is expected.
I decided to watch because of Nina Dobrev, whose heroine is already traditionally someone's double. She is beautifully transformed into Buffy, plays well, and she looks very good crossbow. All the other actors also look good.
Like I said, it's a nice bedtime story. I liked it. It can even be revised.
I didn't like the locket girl Melissa. This moment is kind of indistinct. Not 10, but
9 from 10
